Biography

Autumn is a problem solver. Her diverse experiences as a judicial clerk in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Virginia, research assistant to a law professor, and within the international section of a federal agency have honed her abilities to analyze complex data, efficiently assess a challenge, propose possible solutions, and pivot seamlessly as circumstances arise.

Autumn joins Ifrah Law as a litigator after completing a clerkship with the Honorable Mark R. Colombell during his inaugural year. She assisted the new judge in developing his chambers protocols and procedures, as well as with drafting judicial orders and opinions on a variety of complex civil, criminal, and administrative law matters and in mediation proceedings.

Prior to law school, Autumn was a paralegal in the litigation department of a global Am Law 100 firm, where she assisted with federal bench and jury trials in the areas of intellectual property, false advertising, and complex commercial litigation. While pursuing her law degree, Autumn served as an intern with the Security Exchange Commission’s Office of International Affairs, conducting extensive research on such topics as proposed securities rules and the implications of the GDPR in civil discovery. She also interned at Lone Star Legal Aid in Houston, Texas.

Autumn received her Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee School of Law where she held leadership positions in numerous organizations, including as founding member and Vice President of the Disabled Law Students Association and Client Counseling Chair of the Moot Court Executive Board. She also served as a research assistant to Dr. Todd Peppers and as a teaching assistant in the subjects of Civil Procedure, Administrative Law, Contracts, and Property. Autumn consistently ranked among the top participants in trial competitions such as the ABA Law Student Regional and the HNBA Moot Court Competition. Autumn was named to the Delta Kappa National Honor Society and received the Professionalism and Service Award at commencement for her community leadership and volunteer service.
