CLE Registration: Jackpot! How D.C. Can Successfully Introduce Legalized Sports Betting and Navigate the Changing Regulatory Landscape

Sports and Entertainment Lawyers’ New Year’s Resolution: Get up to speed on developments in legalized sports betting and find ways to better serve your clients. The D.C. Bar is hosting an event that can help.

In coordination with Ifrah Law PLLC, the D.C. Bar will present Jackpot!  How D.C. Can Successfully Introduce Legalized Sports Betting and Navigate the Changing Regulatory Landscape on Thursday, January 9, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.

This sports betting CLE opportunity will be hosted at the D.C. Bar. Prior to the event, a networking cocktail hour will take place at the D.C. Bar from 5:00-6:00 p.m.

The program will feature the first-hand experiences of regulators, and business professionals who will talk about the advances made to sports betting since the District’s legalization. They will also discuss more broadly the Murphy decision and compare D.C.’s approach to legalized sports betting to other states, factoring in licensing and tax issues.  Further, the panel will discuss the ethical responsibilities surrounding implementation and predictions for the future.

Sports betting expert and Founding Member of Ifrah Law PLLC, Jeff Ifrah, will moderate the discussion.
