Jessica Hawkins
PARALEGAL
"I believe every successful practice depends on strong paralegals—the backbone that keeps its people, cases, and processes moving."
Overview
As a Paralegal at Ifrah Law, Jessica Hawkins supports attorneys and clients across the firm’s litigation and regulatory matters. She brings a decade of experience in law firm and in-house legal environments, with particular strength in e-discovery, legal technology, and the operational systems that keep complex matters running smoothly.
Before joining Ifrah Law, Jessica was a Senior Commercial Litigation Paralegal at Sodexo, where she worked closely with the General Counsel and practice group leadership on high-exposure litigation. She helped develop and implement ESI collection plans, managed the litigation team’s budgets and outside counsel spend reporting, and served as the department’s liaison to IT on e-discovery databases and data retention policies. She also led a rebuild of the department’s matter management and e-billing platform and onboarded vendors and outside counsel to the new system. Earlier in her career, Jessica held office management and legal support roles at several Maryland law firms, where she assisted attorneys with discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation.
Jessica earned her B.A. in Japanese and International Relations from Colgate University, including a study abroad program at Kansai Gaidai University. Jessica holds a Paralegal Certificate from the Community College of Baltimore County, where she is now a member of the Legal Studies Advisory Board and Legal Tech Subcommittee, and also serves as a mentor to students. Jessica is also a commissioned Maryland Notary Public.
