Abbey Block Talks Gaming at Morgan State’s 3rd Annual Town Hall in Baltimore
Ifrah Law Associate Abbey Block was among a select group of legal and policy experts who took the stage at the 3rd annual Gaming Town Hall held by Morgan State University’s Center for Data Analysis and Sports Gaming Research (DASGR) on March 6, 2026. The day-long event — themed “The Ever-Changing Face of Gambling: From Sports Betting, to iGaming, to Prediction Markets” — featured three panel discussions and was held at the Graves School of Business. Co-hosted by the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), the event drew panelists and attendees from across the country, and was also live-streamed for viewing nationwide.
Panel 2, moderated by Robert Ruben (Duane Morris) and featuring Abbey Block and fellow panelists, David Aron (Lowenstein Sandler) and Josh Faber (Policy & Legislative Consultant), focused on shifts in the national gambling landscape and the implications on state-level gaming policy in Maryland. All three panels from this year’s Town Hall are available on demand on Morgan State University’s YouTube channel.
