ESPN Quotes Jim Trusty on Move to Dismiss Charges in Rozier Sports Betting Case

On December 23, a motion to dismiss charges against Terry Rozier for conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering was made public.

Ifrah Law partner, Jim Trusty was quoted in ESPN’s coverage of the case explaining, “The government has billed this case as involving ‘insider betting’ and ‘rigging’ professional basketball games. But the indictment alleges something less headline-worthy: that some bettors broke certain sportsbooks’ terms of use.”
