Sara Dalsheim Discusses Integrity and Sports Wagering at Washington College of Law Symposium
Ifrah Law Senior Associate Sara Dalsheim was a featured panelist at Washington College of Law’s symposium, “Sports Integrity in the Wake of Legalized Sports Betting,” hosted by the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and moderated by the Society’s Vice President Kira Widran.
Joining Sara on the panel were Sam Burum, Deputy General Counsel of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) and Rich Cooper, Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at FanDuel.
Discussion centered on how leagues, regulators, and industry stakeholders are working to safeguard the integrity of competition while navigating a rapidly growing and evolving marketplace — touching on legal compliance, regulatory oversight, and the ethical dimensions of a post-legalization landscape.
For Sara, this event carried special significance: while attending WCL as a student, she helped coordinate this sports law symposium — and this time, she took her seat on the panel.
