Ifrah Law Event Kicks Off 2026 IMGL Spring Conference in Washington, D.C.
On April 29, Ifrah Law welcomed delegates from around the globe for an evening of networking to kick off the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) Spring 2026 Conference, one of the gaming industry’s premier annual gatherings. The event set the tone for two days of high-level dialogue on the legal and regulatory issues shaping the future of gaming worldwide.
Jeff Ifrah moderated the first educational panel of the conference on April 30, “State-by-State iGaming Landscape: Lessons from Recent Rollouts” — covering the sticking points for states that have yet to regulate and legalize online gaming. Joining Jeff on the panel were John Pappas of iDEA Growth, former New Jersey regulator David Rebuck, and Shawn Fluharty of Play’n GO.
On May 1, Michelle Cohen brought her cybersecurity and regulatory expertise to the panel “Cybersecurity & Incident Disclosure: New Rules for Operators,” alongside representatives from the Virginia Lottery and BetMGM. Their panel discussed evolving cybersecurity requirements for gaming operators, SEC and state regulator disclosure obligations, and best practices for breach prevention and response — issues at the forefront of compliance for every operator in today’s landscape.
