$871 Million Appeal Ruled in Favor of PokerStars

Founding Member Jeff Ifrah is quoted in a Bloomberg Law article for his take on the recent $871 Million Online gambling verdict that was thrown out by the state of Kentucky.

The ruling, completed by the Kentucky Court of Appeals, moves in favor of Stars Interactive Holdings Ltd. and will mean that they do not have to pay the state $870 million plus on interest.

Although the state may decide re-appeal the case, this judgment is another clear indication that the legalized online sports betting and gaming movement is mustering support. To read the full article, click here
